In an evening of two halves, both legends will joiN the author of their books, Neil Prentice, on stage to reflect on their incredible footballing careers.
Numerous other Town legends will also be in attendance to pay tribute to these two Ipswich Town heroes.
This prestigious gala evening includes an arrival drink and a delicious two-course meal and will also witness the official launch of John Wark’s new book – He’s Here, He’s There.

Involved in more Ipswich Town matches than any other personality in the club’s history. George Burley was an outstanding player, who came back to the club he loves to oversee a new era of success as manager. He remains one of only 13 managers to have been named the Premier League Manager of the Year.

Considered by many to be the club’s greatest ever player.
It would be hard to argue that ‘Warky’ has brought more honour and success to the club than any other individual player. Throughout his lengthy career, he rubbed shoulders with the biggest names in world football and was voted the 1981 PFA Player of the Year.

George Burley’s book, All To Play For, published in November 2024 was recently shortlisted in the Best Illustrated Book category of the Charles Tyrwhitt Sports Book Awards.
